Aslan's Breath

Scenes from C.S. Lewis's book The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe have been filling my mind today. I can't help thinking about the armies of people God is raising up through Celebrate Recovery's ministry. As I sat in leadership training today I realized how large this ministry has become. What started in a church in California has become a worldwide ministry that is bringing healing and hope to millions of people. Individuals Satan has tried so hard to destroy through addictions, trauma, and brokenness, God has proven that nothing is too difficult for Him to restore. As Aslan breathed on the stone statues of people and animals and brought them back to life, Celebrate Recovery is bringing hope and healing to people who were once struggling and hurting deeply. Just as Aslan brought life to the stone statues, God is breathing life back to people through the ministry of Celebrate Recovery. God promises in the Bible that He will be victorious. He will defeat Satan. No person's struggles, challenges or addictions are too difficult for God to heal. He is a God of miracles and He aches to restore all of our lives. It is awesome to be a part of a ministry that is raising up soldiers for Christ. Celebrate Recovery is a huge blessing! People are finding healing and restoration in their lives as they work the principles and steps. It is exciting to be part of this ministry and watch this army of God grow. Every leader becomes an instrument God uses to continue to grow His army. It is an Aslan movement. There is hope and healing that God wants to provide to each and every one of us.
