Another Group

I had just finished weeks of hard work in a group I attended. As I sat enjoying my accomplishments, relieved to have that work behind me, a voice said to me, "I want you to do it again."

My first response was, "No way, Lord."

But God kept speaking to me and telling me He wanted me to join a group again when a new one formed.

This week the new group begins and I'm trying not to stress myself out thinking about my tremendous work day and wrapping everything up in time to make it to the group. God will have to help me as that day is a vey busy day. I watched God make things possible for the last group so I know He will do it again. I'm trying to trust Him and not become anxious as I think about the work ahead of me and the difficulties of racing off after a long day at work. I'm trying to focus on the blessing. Eventually, I will understand why God wants me in another group. In the mean time, I will do my part and work hard for the next six months to complete the tasks I must accomplish.

Is God asking you to do something you don't want to do? May you have the courage to trust and follow His lead. Blessings happen when we obey God. May we learn to step out and do what God asks us to do.
